What inspired you and Rick Gianatos to start The Peace Project, and how has its mission evolved since its inception in 2018?

LA LA PEACE SONG is a powerhouse song with a moral message, both when it was originally released in 1974 ( re-released in 2018)and also for today and the world we are living in. Renowned American Dance Music Producer Rick Gianatos created this music release as a personal statement against all the violence that has been going on in recent years, including in St. Louis, Cleveland, Baltimore, Atlanta, and most recently in Europe. We are hoping to create awareness for the innocent victims and all proceeds from La La Peace Song will go to Debbie Jacobs Rock’s non-profit in Baltimore, Light Health & Wellness.

With such a diverse range of artists and producers involved, how do you ensure that The Peace Project stays true to its core message of unity, peace, and positivity?

We are trying to keep to our core message by including everyone thru our openness to our music channels and events and by giving artists and producers from all over the world and every background a platform to release music on and spread our message of unity and music bringing everyone together. We hope the people who we find cosmically linked to us along the journey are a good choice from us. We try our best today and tomorrow when our best is better we will try even more

The song “Here I Am” touches on themes of redemption and overcoming personal struggles. How important is it for Peace Project Global to address not just global issues, but also personal ones through your music?

Its incredibly important to all partners of Peace Project Global and Dance4Peace to address everyone involved personal issues and allow everyone the kindness, patience and love they need to overcome any personal problems and challenges and grow around the grief and struggle as we are all only human and as inevitably everyone goes thru personal issues in life and spreading positive personal issues thru music is a wonderful thing as this will make an impact on reducing our stress levels and it could help inspire change in others.

Dance 4 Peace has become one of the official sponsors of the #JSMNetworking night. How do events like these help to amplify the message of The Peace Project, and what are your hopes for the impact they will have?

Yes – As Peace project Global and Dance4 Peace we have sponsored many networking events and supported many of the industry showcase events including Brighton Music Conference (BMC), meeting some amazing aspiring dance producers, Vertical Rooms Live(VR Live) nights which showcase some of the best up coming grass roots music in the Uk at Pete’s award winning music facilities, as well as being a part of the JSM Networking night invites industry veterans and young artists to network together and amplify the message of community and unity except meeting people face to face, with music the key element so we are hoping to meet more like minded creatives and business partners to help myself grow TPP message and output.

With upcoming releases and events, what can supporters and fans of Peace Project Global expect in the near future, and how can they get involved in supporting your mission?

Soon there will be more music from many dance genres being released in the form of the ‘Here I Am’ remixes package which is just out. Alongside the original songs release, written by Brendon Cleary and Pete Brazier, this package offers a showcase platform for a strong cross section of up coming producers and remixers from Rinaldo , Jon Dennis , James Black, Johnny Barne to Brightons own Trish O who is currently ripping up radio one with her latest release. There will be collaborations happening this year and I will be attending MiCannes alternative conference in June in Nice representing Peace Project Global with the international music scene. Lots more music coming & we also hope to make a compilation album of the best of our remixed original songs.

In the near future we are working towards collaborating with media, music and different creative industries. Together we hope to create enough positivity to wipe out some negativity in the modern world . If you would like to join us in this positive push call …… or email contact@thepeaceproject.uk
